Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop scalable, high-performance, usable features across NETGEAR Android applications.
  • •Take ownership of end-to-end initiatives, coordinating with cloud and embedded counterparts to deliver cohesive product experiences.
  • •Build and maintain test coverage (unit, integration, UI) alongside manual QA for features and releases.
  • •Apply engineering judgment to solve complex problems and contribute to architectural discussions shaping the app’s technical direction.
  • •Champion best practices (code reviews, modern CI/CD and DevOps workflows) and mentor other engineers as an informal technical lead.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin and Java, including leadership on cross-functional projects.
  • •Strong knowledge of Android OS architecture, platform services, and system-level integrations.
  • •Experience designing and building scalable, testable, reusable mobile applications.
  • •Proficiency in Material Design and building modern, responsive, user-centric UIs.
  • •Experience developing API and microservices clients, plus working with DevOps pipelines/tools and test coverage practices.
