Own and build complex features across NETGEAR’s Android mobile applications, shaping the app experience for millions of users who manage home networks. Drive end-to-end technical initiatives with partners across mobile, embedded, and cloud systems, championing scalability, performance, usability, and test coverage. Lead technical direction through architecture discussions, code reviews, and modern CI/CD/DevOps workflows (e.g., GitHub Actions), while mentoring engineers and using AI-augmented development throughout the SDLC.

•Design and develop scalable, high-performance, usable features across NETGEAR Android applications.
•Take ownership of end-to-end initiatives, coordinating with cloud and embedded counterparts to deliver cohesive product experiences.
•Build and maintain test coverage (unit, integration, UI) alongside manual QA for features and releases.
•Apply engineering judgment to solve complex problems and contribute to architectural discussions shaping the app’s technical direction.
•Champion best practices (code reviews, modern CI/CD and DevOps workflows) and mentor other engineers as an informal technical lead.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: EUR 85,000 - 95,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of Android development experience with Kotlin and Java, including leadership on cross-functional projects.
•Strong knowledge of Android OS architecture, platform services, and system-level integrations.
•Experience designing and building scalable, testable, reusable mobile applications.
•Proficiency in Material Design and building modern, responsive, user-centric UIs.
•Experience developing API and microservices clients, plus working with DevOps pipelines/tools and test coverage practices.
