  • •Drive cross-team architectural evolution toward simplicity, scalability, and testability.
  • •Pair with engineers, lead design discussions, and mentor others through XP practices like pairing and design reviews.
  • •Design elegant solutions to performance, reliability, and distributed rendering challenges.
  • •Spot risks and systemic bottlenecks early, establish good defaults, and partner with product and leadership to balance delivery with long-term technical health.

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years designing and shipping complex, distributed systems.
  • •Proven experience leading large-scale technical initiatives that simplified and strengthened core systems.
  • •Deep backend expertise in modern backend development, ideally TypeScript/Node.js or Golang.
  • •Experience with AWS and cloud-native infrastructure, plus system-wide understanding across layers of the stack.
  • •Ability to coach engineers through context, guidance, and example, and communicate complex ideas clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
