Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop real-time risk assessments that power instant decisions whenever customers use the calculator to create transactions.
  • •Own and maintain risk infrastructure for Instant ACH, enabling instant transfers in the US market.
  • •Collaborate with Data Analysts and Data Scientists to design new rules, refine ML models, and support chargeback and fraud investigations.
  • •Build and improve distributed systems and data processing components to handle billions of transactions while meeting strict latency targets.
  • •Contribute to production reliability with end-to-end ownership: monitoring, continuous improvement, and robust operations for North America risk systems.

Salary: HUF 1,300,000 - 1,700,000 monthly

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience with Java, Kotlin, or other JVM-based languages, with deep knowledge of the Spring framework.
  • •Ability to design solutions optimized for both throughput and speed, including keeping p99 end-to-end latency under 1 second for real-time risk & fraud checks.
  • •Deep understanding of JDBC, database internals, and query optimization, with hands-on experience using Kafka, Kafka Streams, or Apache Flink for real-time event processing.
  • •Experience designing scalable, resilient distributed systems and running CI/CD pipelines.
  • •Comfort working cross-functionally daily with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to put models into production and refine rule sets.
