Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with business leaders to develop and execute people strategies supporting objectives, growth plans, and organizational effectiveness.
  • •Provide strategic HR guidance and coaching to managers across talent management, employee engagement, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • •Lead and support organizational design, restructuring, change management, and business transformation initiatives.
  • •Manage complex employee relations matters, workplace investigations, disciplinary cases, and conflict resolution while ensuring compliance with local employment laws.
  • •Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and HR Operations) and drive talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development.

Key Requirements

  • •Native or business-level proficiency in Japanese (written and verbal communication).
  • •Strong employee relations experience, including managing investigations, organizational change, restructures, and complex workplace matters.
  • •Ability to align HR strategies, talent initiatives, and workforce plans to organizational goals with strong business acumen.
  • •Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in a matrixed environment.
  • •Experience leveraging HR data/insights and HRIS platforms such as Workday to support decision-making.
