Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform land survey field work in a leading role, working independently or with and mentoring Jr Party Chiefs and Instrument Operators.
  • •Collect measurements using survey instruments/equipment and prepare clear, legible notes and sketches.
  • •Download daily survey field data and provide reports and summaries when needed.
  • •Represent WSP professionally with clients and the public while in the field as main point of contact.
  • •Support workplace safety and adhere to WSP health, safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policies.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED required; higher education in land surveying or an associated field is ideal.
  • •5+ years of experience in land surveying and geospatial services (or an associated field).
  • •Advanced knowledge of survey equipment, practices, and procedures.
  • •Must have a valid state driver’s license and successfully complete WSP’s Motor Vehicle and Background screening.
  • •Ability to work independently or as part of a team and to mentor Jr Party Chiefs and Instrument Operators; detail oriented and organized.
