High School Math Substitute Teacher (Contractor)

Provide engaging instruction for students at a virtual partner school (Michigan Great Lakes Virtual Academy), delivering hands-on culinary/CTE-focused learning aligned to state standards and pathways. Plan and teach safe food preparation and kitchen management, differentiate for diverse learners, and assess progress through practical and written evaluations. Manage classroom/lab safety, inventory, and food ordering within budget, while collaborating with staff and communicating regularly with students, families, and school teams.
