Build and productionize first-of-its-kind GenAI applications for Databricks customers as part of the customer-facing AI Forward Deployed Engineering team. Develop solutions using techniques like RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, and fine-tuning, then deploy production-grade models with evaluation and optimization. Serve as a trusted technical advisor, collaborate with product and engineering to shape roadmaps, and present thought leadership at major AI conferences.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop cutting-edge GenAI solutions to solve customer problems, incorporating Databricks AI research techniques.
•Own production rollouts of consumer and internally facing GenAI applications.
•Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers across a variety of domains.
•Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering teams to influence priorities and shape the product roadmap.
•Present at conferences (e.g., Data + AI Summit) and be recognized as a thought leader internally and externally.

Key Requirements

•Experience building GenAI applications including RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, and fine-tuning using tools such as HuggingFace, LangChain, and DSPy.
•Expertise deploying production-grade GenAI applications, including evaluation and optimization.
•Extensive hands-on industry data science experience with tools such as pandas, scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
•Experience building production-grade machine learning deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
•Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience.
