Key Responsibilities

  • •Own pre-production approval by reviewing art proofs and assessing sew-out samples against order specifications before production starts.
  • •Manage third-party decorator relationships by establishing quality standards and conducting inspections during production runs and prior to shipment.
  • •Perform final shipping inspections by checking decorated items for defects (e.g., loose threads, puckering, seam integrity, color accuracy, placement precision) and routing non-conforming work to rework or disposal.
  • •Track and communicate quality metrics by maintaining records of approvals/rejections/rework, documenting defect trends, and escalating issues to the Operations Manager.
  • •Conduct daily quality audits with decorator partners by reviewing performance data, identifying root causes, and collaborating on corrective action plans to drive continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of experience in embroidery production, quality control, or decoration operations with hands-on embroidery standards knowledge.
  • •Proficiency with embroidery software (Wilcom, Tajima, Hatch, or similar) for file review and digitizing verification.
  • •Ability to set and enforce quality standards, with experience managing vendor or decorator relationships preferred.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills for detailed approval/rejection notes and quality trend briefings.
