Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute effective supervision of financial institutions within the FSRA risk-based supervisory plan.
  • •Develop supervisory plans/strategies for assigned firms and mitigate supervisory concerns with line manager/backup.
  • •Use supervisory tools such as onsite reviews, third-party reviews, and information requests; lead and assist risk assessments and recommendations.
  • •Review periodic reports/returns and conduct implementation controls/progress reporting where deficiencies are identified.
  • •Act as a reference point within the Supervision team, support a team culture, and take prompt action against deficiencies and non-compliances.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 8 years of experience in insurance supervision or related roles.
  • •Considerable knowledge of insurance sector regulations, products, services, and market practices.
  • •Experience assessing risks to identify trends/concerns and determine remedial actions and future regulatory requirements.
  • •Well-developed communications skills in writing and orally, with strong internal and external stakeholder management.
  • •Fluency in business English.
