Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead a team of hourly personnel in a specific work cell/area to fulfill customer requirements and produce quality products safely and timely.
  • •Perform planning/control work to ensure the lean production process runs as designed and supports safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
  • •Update control boards timely and accurately, and review production-tracking documents to address misses and other issues.
  • •Coordinate shift change activities, including tier-one meetings and standard walks to ensure standardized work execution.
  • •Create preventative actions aligned to safety/environment goals, ensure 6S events are conducted regularly, and drive continuous improvement ideas.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution is required.
  • •Minimum of two (2) years manufacturing experience.
  • •Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
  • •No relocation benefit is being offered; only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Waukesha, WI will be considered.
  • •Preferred: associate degree; experience in transformer assembly and/or lean manufacturing, plus leadership experience in a lean environment.
