Job Summary

Lead sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction while supervising an assigned hourly workforce. Drive business objectives and metrics across cost, quality, delivery, and EH&S, using continuous improvement and Lean strategies. Manage time and attendance, coaching, performance reviews, and root-cause corrective actions, and ensure coverage and schedule execution across alternate shifts.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction.
•Manage all aspects of an assigned hourly workforce, including time and attendance, time off, training, and communications.
•Define and implement plans to support business objectives and meet quality and financial metrics goals.
•Lead continuous improvement and Lean process improvement opportunities, including root-cause corrective actions.
•Coach employees, conduct performance and skill reviews, cover other shifts as needed, and set day-to-day operational objectives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, production, quality, or closely related industrial environment, or an advanced degree with 3 years of experience.
•U.S. citizenship required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
•Manage all aspects of assigned hourly workforce including time & attendance, time off, rewards, training, and communications.
•Experience supporting business objectives using quality and financial metrics.
•Demonstrate commitment to EH&S by complying with policies, completing required training, and supporting applicable committee activities.
