Job Summary

Own project financial oversight for WSP’s Remediation Program Management team, supporting delivery through budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and performance reporting. Monitor cost and schedule against baselines, run variance analysis, track KPIs, and manage WIP, accounts receivable, and invoicing status. Partner with project managers and accountants on corrective actions, risk/escalation, re-baselining, change management, and project closeout to keep work on track within budget.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and schedules.
•Monitor cost, schedule, and project performance against approved baselines and perform variance analysis.
•Support project setup, planning, estimating, and resource forecasting activities.
•Prepare and maintain project performance reports, dashboards, and status updates; track project KPIs.
•Review WIP, accounts receivable, invoicing status, and project financial health; support risk escalation, corrective actions, budget re-baselining, change management, and closeout.

Key Requirements

•Post-secondary diploma or degree in accounting/finance, business administration, or a related discipline.
•Minimum 3 years’ experience in project controls, project finance, cost control, scheduling, or project management support.
•Experience supporting small to large projects.
•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
•Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project management/reporting tools; familiarity with Smartsheet is preferred.
