•Actively engage students in curriculum design and contribute to teaching policies, strategies, and assessment approaches.
•Lead and represent the School/Department in University committees or working groups, including contributing to learning/teaching strategy and departmental development.
•Contribute to academic citizenship through publications, external quality assurance activities, and high value knowledge transfer and enterprise/business/public engagement.
•Undertake clinical service as part of an honorary contract with the Birmingham Community Health Care Foundation Trust and continue developing restorative/prosthodontic clinical skills.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 74,203 - 150,569 annually

Key Requirements

•This is a clinical academic post: must be a fully registered dentist with a licence to practise with the GDC and participate in clinical appraisal and revalidation.
•Demonstrated competence in learning and teaching, plus management and administration.
•Normally, a higher degree relevant to the discipline area (usually a PhD) or equivalent qualifications.
•Evidence of an excellent teaching profile with scholarship-informed teaching, high-quality teaching methods, and effective assessment strategies.
•Demonstrated significant achievement in management/administration activities (e.g., leading initiatives/roles such as exams officer) and success in corporate School/College/University contributions.
