Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end legal support for major capital projects across APAC, from early development and procurement strategy through contracting, execution, claims, and closeout.
  • •Draft and negotiate complex construction-related agreements including EPC/EPCM, design-build, construction management, consulting, procurement, and supply contracts.
  • •Advise on project risks and strategy, including delay exposure, change orders, performance security, defects/warranty, and dispute avoidance/resolution.
  • •Partner with procurement, engineering, and project teams to structure tenders, manage risk, and develop contracting templates and playbooks.
  • •Manage external counsel across APAC and track legal/regulatory developments to provide practical guidance to project teams.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified lawyer with 8+ years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or major capital projects (EPC/EPCM preferred).
  • •Proven track record advising on complex industrial or technical projects, including live-project issues such as delays, claims, variations, and disputes.
  • •Strong drafting and negotiation skills with practical commercial judgment to support diverse stakeholders.
  • •Familiarity with FIDIC (or equivalent) frameworks, including security of payment/adjudication regimes and broader APAC construction law practices.
  • •Ability to support cross-border APAC matters and provide end-to-end project legal support.
