Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and implement sourcing and cost management strategies with key suppliers for platform and new product development.
  • •Pull and aggregate the demand picture for Starlink hardware to enable accurate demand signals.
  • •Serve as the supplier interface for RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs; run the RFX process and implement sourcing decisions.
  • •Manage costs against project budgets and forecasts; develop should-cost models for competitive analysis.
  • •Drive supplier partnerships and process improvements, including analytical tool implementation to manage supplier performance and support prototype-to-mass-production readiness.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, material/production planning, operations or supply chain management, material cost control, or master production scheduling; or 9+ years in lieu of a degree.
  • •Technical procurement or planning experience with PCB, PCBA, or electrical components.
  • •Experience with PCBAs and managing a technical supply chain (including contract manufacturing and electronic component packaging).
  • •Experience with forecasting, demand planning, and lead time analysis.
  • •Strong data analysis skills using Excel, SQL, and PowerBI.
