Job Summary

Lead and grow the electrical engineering discipline within a Building Services team, providing technical excellence and strategic direction for healthcare, education, and school sector projects. Key Responsibilities

•Lead the electrical engineering discipline across healthcare, education, and school projects to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
•Oversee and review electrical designs for LV/HV distribution, lighting, fire detection and alarm, emergency systems, security, ICT, and BMS/BAS.
•Ensure healthcare-specific compliance, including HTMs, HBNs, and NHS requirements.
•Lead technical delivery of multiple projects from concept through detailed design and construction across all RIBA stages.
•Mentor and develop the electrical engineering team, including resource planning, recruitment, succession planning, performance management, and QA/QC processes.

Key Requirements

•Degree-qualified in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
•Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the IET or equivalent professional body.
•Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in building services electrical design, including leadership across healthcare and education projects.
•Proven track record delivering complex electrical designs for hospitals, laboratories, universities, and schools.
