Job Summary

Oversee portfolio delivery for CTO Data Technology by supporting the PPM/Portfolio team to align initiatives with business goals and track delivery health (milestones, dependencies, RAID). Drive early intervention on risks and promote consistent practices and tooling across programmes. Support budgeting, planning, forecasting, and governance evidence, prepare governance materials, and provide day-to-day PMO support while coordinating with global stakeholders across Technology, Finance, Procurement, Risk, Compliance, and Transformation.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the PPM/Portfolio team to ensure initiatives align with business goals and values, with clear accountability and measurable outcomes.
•Track delivery health across the portfolio (milestones, dependencies, RAID), driving early intervention and timely escalation on delivery risks.
•Promote consistent practices and tooling across programmes/projects aligned to GCIO COO expectations.
•Support budgeting, planning, forecasting, and cost tracking for assigned portfolio areas, ensuring transparency and high data quality.
•Prepare governance materials, manage action tracking across governance cycles, and provide day-to-day PMO support for IT operations.

Key Requirements

•Excellent written and verbal English, including strong email communication and reporting tailored to the audience.
•Strong attention to detail with the ability to investigate items deeply and maintain accurate MI and governance artefacts.
•Logical analytical thinking with strong problem-solving skills.
•Commitment to delivery and ability to work under tight schedules and high pressure while maintaining quality.
•Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile ways of working; experience in a technology organisation within the banking industry is advantageous; proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
