Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership and direction to project teams that may include internal and external service providers (e.g., project engineers and environmental/operations engineers).
  • •Create and direct controls for assigned pipeline projects and generate monthly cash flow forecasts and encroachments project status reports.
  • •Generate project alternatives, estimates, budgets requests, schedules, materials requisitions, and contract specifications for pipeline relocation projects.
  • •Coordinate encroachments design and construction activities with multiple internal stakeholders and teams, ensuring safety and reliability of the pipeline network.
  • •Review and approve encroachments inquiries (including drawings review, load stress and vibrations calculations, and anomalies review) while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Requirements

  • •5-10 years of oil and gas experience, with a minimum of 5 years practical engineering experience in pipelines/petroleum terminals/utility fields.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering strongly preferred; equivalent industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, with preferred concentrations in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
  • •Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and standards including 49 CFR Part 192/195 and API 1102.
  • •Project management experience on small to large pipeline or utility projects, including estimates, budgets, schedules, and contract specifications.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to be insurable by the company’s insurance carrier; proficiency with Microsoft Office and project scheduling software.
