Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate and monitor 220 kV GIS, 33 kV, and 6.6 kV electrical distribution systems to ensure safe, reliable power.
  • •Perform electrical switching, isolation, energization, and shutdown activities while monitoring parameters, load distribution, and power quality.
  • •Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance; troubleshoot electrical faults and coordinate rapid restoration.
  • •Operate and maintain GIS systems and related equipment, including monitoring SF₆ gas parameters, inspecting GIS breakers/disconnectors, and condition monitoring.
  • •Support critical utility infrastructure (HVAC plants, chillers, air compressors, water/wastewater, gas systems, cleanroom utilities) with safety/compliance, emergency response, and reporting/records via shift logs and CMMS/SAP.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering.
  • •5–10 years of experience in electrical facilities operations supporting manufacturing environments.
  • •Hands-on expertise with 220 kV GIS substations and 33 kV/6.6 kV power distribution systems.
  • •Experience with HT/LT power systems including transformers, UPS, DG sets, load management, switching, and electrical protection.
  • •Proficiency with CMMS/SAP PM and maintaining shift logs, alarms, and maintenance records.
