Job Summary

Subject matter expert for baggage handling systems, leading the maintenance team with technical knowledge, leadership, and oversight. Responsible for preventive checks, system efficiency improvements, and acting as the primary team and customer contact for technical discussions and workflows. Drives resource planning, KPI oversight, and continuous improvement while ensuring safety, security access, and alignment with the company vision in a fast-paced airport environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Support team leadership on the technical aspects of the systems and communicate the vision and strategy to team members
•Develop, inspire, and motivate the team, maintaining accountability for results when delegating
•Develop and organize technical resources and workflows to ensure plans are fulfilled or exceeded
•Lead continuous improvement management of the assigned team and scope of work
•Liaise with remote Hotline for key project support
•Attend to major stoppages requiring equipment know-how and lead corrective actions
•Oversee preventive checks, back-up procedures and PLC/server hardware maintenance
•Supervise and lead project and team KPI achievement as determined by Company/Customer
•Oversee warranty cases and related handling
•Perform additional leadership/mentorship initiatives as required

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 45 - 50 hourly

Key Requirements

•Technical Diploma or degree with 3-5 years of maintenance experience on Material Handling Systems (ideally baggage handling systems)
•Electrical, mechanical, PLC and controls hardware skills with financial/business acumen
•MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
•Ability to obtain and maintain airside security access
•On-call/night shift availability for operational needs and system maintenance
