Key Responsibilities

  • •Act as lead verifier on technical feasibility studies and design reports.
  • •Liaise with clients and manage day-to-day project work to deliver within agreed timescales and budgets.
  • •Coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams.
  • •Lead and manage the design of civil infrastructure, including roads, drainage, civil structural infrastructure, and external works.
  • •Prepare and review calculations, detailed drawings, and specifications; conduct site inspections and respond to technical queries while producing high-quality reports and mentoring junior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering.
  • •Chartered status or actively working towards chartership with the Institution of Civil Engineers (or a relevant institution).
  • •Experience delivering complex multi-disciplinary projects for the Energy Transition industry.
  • •Experience in UK Transmission & Distribution projects (11kV–400kV), highly desirable.
  • •Strong technical competency in the design of civil or structural elements, plus report writing and organisational skills; familiarity with NGTS or National Grid CDAE is an advantage.
