Job Summary

Own the technical side of RFP responses and bid proposals for collaborative AV solutions—translating client requirements into system designs and detailed design documentation. Partner with sales and Account Managers to clarify needs, identify risks, and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Build bid-ready design packages (BOM, block diagrams, infrastructure plans), support pre-sales estimating, and advise project teams during implementation as design authority.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical components of RFP responses and bid proposals, including bid documentation validation and value engineering when possible.
•Translate client requirements into functional system designs and detailed documentation (BOM, conceptual block diagrams, infrastructure plans, and scopes of work).
•Assess project risks and account for site conditions, scheduling requirements, and dependencies during design development.
•Coordinate with vendors, architects, consultants, contractors, and general contractors to align designs with project constraints and infrastructure needs (power, data, conduit).
•Support project teams during implementation by providing technical input as the design authority as needed.

Key Requirements

•3–5 years of experience designing or integrating audiovisual systems.

•Two (2) or more relevant audio/DSP certifications (e.g., Biamp, Q-SYS, Extron, Shure).
•Bilingual communication in English and French and a valid driver’s license.
