Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide cybersecurity expertise to Field Sales, Sales Engineering, and Customer Success for customer inquiries, questionnaires, audits, and related requests.
  • •Assist in customer security audits by showing evidence of Splunk security controls.
  • •Facilitate security assessments from customers, including pre-sales support.
  • •Support security conversations by representing Splunk’s security controls and alignment with customer security expectations and contractual commitments.
  • •Maintain customer-facing documentation and drive process improvement and automation to mature the program and shorten the sales cycle.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s +5 years of related experience, or Master’s +2 years, or PhD.
  • •Functional knowledge of cybersecurity principles and security compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001/27018, SOC 1/2, NIS2, NIST CSF, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, CSA CCM, SIG).
  • •Understanding of cloud security principles in cloud environments.
  • •Preferred experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • •One or more preferred certifications (e.g., CISSP, CRISC, CISM, CISA, CCSK, GIAC, CCSP, CSX, CTPRP).
