Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee overall risk management, maintain independent risk oversight, and manage the company’s risk profile, including the ability to veto or halt unacceptable risk transactions or activities.
  • •Lead development, maintenance, and monitoring of group/local risk policies, limits, guidelines, and risk measurement methodology and tools.
  • •Facilitate enterprise-wide risk assessment, monitor priority risks, and support business lines in risk identification and analysis.
  • •Coordinate, track, and follow up on risk mitigation actions; support risk mitigation strategy development and ensure quality implementation.
  • •Provide internal and external reporting on risk and capital issues; manage risk committees, represent Risk Management in major committees, chair the Risk Committee, and review the risk-return strategy of the business plan.

Key Requirements

  • •Over 10 years of relevant experience with expertise in the Actuarial area.
  • •Broad understanding of the insurance business.
  • •Passed risk management exams and obtained qualifications from domestic/overseas risk management institutes or associations.
  • •Solid analytical skills and core understanding of business financials (accounting, finance, balance sheet).
  • •Excellent command of both Chinese and English.
