Key Responsibilities

  • •Build backend connectivity services powering millions of VMs on the Databricks platform
  • •Lead the design and development of services that connect the control plane and compute plane
  • •Enable scalability of the compute plane and efficient use of cloud resources
  • •Collaborate with product management, operations, and other engineering teams to deliver robust, scalable networking systems
  • •Act as a hands-on leader solving multi-cloud and distributed systems challenges in a fast-paced environment

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of production level experience in one of: Python, Java, Scala, C++, or similar language
  • •4+ years of experience developing large-scale distributed systems from scratch
  • •Experience working on a SaaS platform or with Service-Oriented Architectures
  • •Extensive experience working in the Networking domain
  • •Hands-on leadership and ability to design and develop backend connectivity services
