Job Summary

Develop and enhance VisionPlus applications on z/OS, including building CICS and COBOL programs and supporting both batch and online processing flows. Work across key VisionPlus sub-modules (e.g., FAS, TRAMS, ITS), perform code reviews and audits, and deliver fixes after production incidents. Collaborate in DevOps/agile environments, maintain scheduling/version control, and create technical and functional documentation to meet quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop CICS and COBOL programs on z/OS systems with VisionPlus functional and architectural acumen.
•Support VisionPlus batch and online processing flows and work within one or more sub-modules such as FAS, TRAMS, and ITS.
•Participate in formal code reviews, peer reviews, walkthroughs, and application audits/inspections to meet quality standards.
•Evaluate, design, code, and test improvements for complex projects while following standards and controls to ensure quality.
•Perform production incident analysis and deploy permanent code fixes; create technical and functional documentation.

Key Requirements

•Strong knowledge of the VisionPLUS product and hands-on experience with FAS and TRAMS.
•Proficiency developing and understanding VisionPlus batch and online processing flows across sub-modules (e.g., FAS, TRAMS, ITS).
•Mandatory skills in CICS, COBOL, JCL, File-Manager, ChangeMan, Endevor, Fault Analyzer (FAZ), Jira, and QC.
•Experience in DevOps environments and working on agile methodologies.
•Excellent analytical/problem-solving skills plus good communication and interpersonal skills.
