Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead development of new adhesive, sealant, and coating formulations aligned with business strategy and customer requirements.
  • •Adapt and localize global formulations for local manufacturing and market needs.
  • •Design, execute, and analyze laboratory experiments and application testing; interpret data and deliver technical reports.
  • •Manage product development projects under Sika’s Product Creation Process (PCP), including timelines, milestones, documentation, and cross-functional coordination.
  • •Support pilot and commercial scale-up, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support for customer trials and implementation.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s or PhD degree in Chemistry, Polymer, Materials Science or an engineering-related field.
  • •5–10 years of experience in R&D, application testing, customer support, or technical service in specialty chemicals, preferably adhesives and sealants (polyurethane).
  • •Strong technical background in polymer chemistry, organic chemistry, and materials science.
  • •Hands-on experience developing adhesive, sealant, and coating products.
  • •Strong project management skills with strict documentation and accuracy.
