Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide effective instruction in assigned Applied Media subjects and at least two or more areas of the assigned program/discipline for second-language learners.
  • •Instruct undergraduate courses in the respective discipline, including regular program courses, capstone projects, work experience, and senior-level specialized courses.
  • •Support applied research activities and participate in academic and extra-curricular events at the college.
  • •Engage in outreach activities and community involvement in connection with college events.
  • •Perform teaching duties on an as-needed basis, with teaching load assigned up to nine (9) credits per semester and schedule driven by the teaching timetable.

Key Requirements

  • •Provide effective instruction in assigned Applied Media courses and program areas for second-language learners in a student-centric environment.
  • •Hold a Master’s Degree and a professional certification relevant to the Applied Media discipline.
  • •Or, hold a Bachelor’s Degree, which may be considered with extensive industry experience and relevant industry certification.
  • •Meet appropriate academic professional qualifications as required by the discipline/program.
  • •A minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience is preferred.
