Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide systems administration for desktop and server environments connected to local and wide area networks, including user/account monitoring and OS installation.
  • •Perform installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity management of computer software and implement OS enhancements for reliability and performance.
  • •Manage IT system infrastructure and provide day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for client/server/storage/network and mobile devices.
  • •Deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution, and support escalation and status communication to agency management and internal customers.
  • •Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, integrate new technologies, and support troubleshooting of hardware/software and communications infrastructure issues.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of related experience, including at least 4 years of specialized experience.
  • •In-depth experience troubleshooting IT systems and providing detailed analysis to agency management for escalated tickets.
  • •Ability to configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, including OS and application software installation and upgrades.
  • •DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II / 8140 Computing Environment (CE) certification required prior to support, including IAT II 8570/8140 Baseline Security+ or equivalent.
  • •Must currently possess TS/SCI and be willing/able to attain CI Polygraph where required by the contract; US Citizenship required.
