Job Summary

Lead and develop a high-performing store team on a 6-month development programme, gaining hands-on experience in People, Commercial Performance, Client Experience and Operations to prepare for future Store Manager responsibilities. You will coach staff, drive sales targets, ensure excellent customer service, manage store operations, and contribute to retail projects within a Sephora context.

Key Responsibilities

•People: Support the management, development, and coaching of Assistant Managers and employees, conduct career and employee appraisals; participate in induction of new employees and training; contribute to floor management; recruit and pass Sephora DNA and attitude to the team.
•Commercial Performance: Support monthly/annual sales targets, analyze IPT/AVB/CR/Market Share, identify sales potential, ensure visual merchandising standards and store profitability.
•Client Experience: Ensure excellent customer service, evaluate feedback, implement measures to surprise customers.
•Operations: Support staff scheduling, inventories, goods management, opening/closing store, and maintenance reporting; ensure Sephora Audit compliance.
•Additional Tasks: Participate in retail projects with Area Managers and maintain partner relationships.

Key Requirements

•Completed studies or completed training, ideally in retail.
•Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Store or Assistant Manager in retail, preferably in the beauty sector.
•Good knowledge of English and German at native or near-native level.
•Analytical and commercial working methods.
•Basic knowledge of SAP and Excel is an advantage.
