Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain sufficient inventory of materials, equipment, and supplies; report shortages and keep ordering/replenishment records.
  • •Perform all sonography imaging procedures according to departmental protocols, using anatomy/physiology knowledge to produce diagnostic-quality images.
  • •Assess image quality, appropriateness, and completeness; advise other staff as needed; forward images for radiologist review and reporting.
  • •Operate ultrasound equipment safely and competently; report incidents and equipment faults; maintain a clean and tidy working environment.
  • •Promote quality and safety, comply with safety/quality controls, infection control precautions, OSHMS requirements, and participate in continuous education and training.

Key Requirements

  • •BSc in Radiography or an accredited Radiography diploma program (at least a 3-year syllabus) or an accredited Radiography program (at least a 2-year syllabus).
  • •Current national license.
  • •2+ years post-graduate ultrasound experience in an acute care hospital, including Doppler, obstetric/gynecology, and abdominal sonography.
  • •Fluent spoken and written English; spoken Arabic is advantageous.
  • •Self-motivation and ability to work under pressure, with IT competencies.
