Job Summary

Own MiFID II and Austrian capital-markets compliance across Bybit’s European operations in Vienna. Establish and continually improve the compliance framework, draft and maintain policies and controls, and serve as the subject-matter expert on investment services under MiFID II/WAG 2018. Provide clear reporting to senior management and the Board, oversee complaints-handling alignment, and monitor European regulatory developments to keep internal frameworks compliant.

Key Responsibilities

•Establish, manage, and continuously improve a robust compliance framework in accordance with MiFID II and WAG 2018.
•Draft, implement, and maintain internal policies, procedures, and controls relevant to the compliance area.
•Act as the subject-matter expert on investment services and activities under MiFID II / WAG 2018 and provide regulatory guidance to internal teams.
•Prepare and deliver clear compliance reports to senior management and the Board.
•Oversee and advise on complaints-handling processes and monitor regulatory developments to adapt internal frameworks.

Key Requirements

•University degree in Law and qualification as a legal professional.
•At least 5 years of experience in a compliance department at an investment firm, capital markets division of a bank, reputable law firm, or regulator.
•Profound experience preparing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
•Deep understanding of investment services and activities under MiFID II / WAG 2018 and the broader regulatory framework.
•Fluency in both German and English, with strong communication skills for executive stakeholders.
