Job Summary

Lead systems engineering work within the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities (SETC) team to develop mission-focused solutions. You’ll develop and document requirements and interfaces, perform design analysis with modeling/simulation and trade studies, and integrate software and hardware subsystems. Collaborate cross-disciplinarily to support mission planning, ensure SOW compliance through system verification, and contribute to program milestones while advising lower-level engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and document requirements and interfaces, and perform design analysis, modeling/simulation, system integration, and trade studies.
•Coordinate with a cross-discipline team to meet customer/mission planning requirements.
•Support SOW compliance by developing, documenting, and executing system verification activities.
•Integrate software and hardware subsystems and follow established systems engineering processes and procedures.
•Analyze data, communicate results, manage tasks/projects, and provide input/guidance to lower-level engineers.

Key Requirements

•STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience in software requirements, design, development, integration, and test.
•Experience with the full systems engineering lifecycle (V-model), including writing and executing system qualification tests.
•Knowledge of the software lifecycle (requirements, design, implementation, integration, test) and configuration management.
•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
•Preferred: familiarity with the V-22 platform and working knowledge of CAMEO, SYSML, and DOORs (MBSE, Azure DevOps or equivalent).
