Key Responsibilities

  • •Support project management assistant activities for the Carolinas Transportation team, including cost, schedule, and progress reporting.
  • •Maintain organized, auditable project management files (budgets/forecasts, trends, change logs, commitments, EV reports) in the correct repository.
  • •Use financial terminology and metrics to assess impacts of project decisions, and analyze variances, emerging risks, and recovery/mitigation needs.
  • •Assist with trending/forecasting inputs and baseline budget control, ensuring documentation is complete, correctly versioned, and aligned to the approved baseline.
  • •Coordinate monthly invoicing inputs and invoice file controls, including validation, tracking invoice status, and supporting approvals per procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •8+ years of experience in cost management, cost control, quantity surveying, or project accounting within large infrastructure programs.
  • •Experience in cost control, financial analysis, and risk management/reporting in large, complex multi-project infrastructure environments.
  • •Proficiency in MS Office and other cost management software tools to document and illustrate cost performance.
  • •Experience implementing and operating Earned Value Management (EVM) in large infrastructure programs.
