Join SpaceX’s Starlink Development team as an Automation & Controls Specialist responsible for designing, building, installing, and commissioning electromechanical production systems. You will develop and optimize automation assets for production lines, read and redline complex schematics, and design PLC/HMI software to deliver safe, reliable, and scalable manufacturing solutions in Bastrop, TX.

Key Responsibilities

•Integrate and commission electromechanical production systems and collaborate with engineering to deliver solutions
•Develop, build, and execute new automation solutions for production lines and improve existing assets to meet requirements
•Read, understand, utilize, and redline system-level schematics (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic)
•Build industrial control panels to NFPA 79 & UL 508A standards
•Design, implement, and commission PLC and HMI software applications

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalency
•2+ years of automation experience in a manufacturing and production environment
•2+ years of experience with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems
•Knowledge of NFPA 70, NFPA 70E, NFPA 79, and UL508A codes; PLC & HMI programming experience (ladder logic/structured text)
•Forklift certification, ability to lift 25 lbs, overtime/weekend willingness
