Job Summary

Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program to become a Retail Personal Banker II focused on consultative sales and relationship building. Promote deposits, loans, and fee-based services, conduct Financial Needs Assessments, and use approved marketing tools (CAMP) to set appointments. Cross-sell to existing customers, support outside sales and community events, partner with business teams, and meet customer experience and production goals while managing risk.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify needs.
•Maintain knowledge of retail consumer and small business products and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and conduct outside sales activities and community financial literacy events as directed.
•Partner with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) to refer customers and deliver holistic financial solutions while meeting goals and maintaining confidentiality.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience providing transferable skills (or a combination of education and experience).
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrated understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•Ability to develop a working knowledge of Retail policies and procedures to make sound decisions; S.A.F.E. Act registration through NMLS is required at employment.
