Job Summary

Work with the Corporate Land GIS team to build and maintain spatial master data and information layers that support real-property ownership for land operations. Use GIS and data tools such as ArcGIS, ArcMap, ArcEnterprise web mapping, Quorum, SQL, FME, and Python to interpret legal descriptions, transform datasets, and resolve mapping/data inquiries. Participate in site internship activities, receive mentorship and performance evaluations, and culminate with a presentation showcasing your work.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete GIS projects with guidance from a mentor and other Corporate Land staff.
•Interpret and analyze Jeffersonian and Survey Abstract legal descriptions.
•Build and maintain master land record spatial data using Quorum, QGIS, and ArcMap.
•Use FME to model and/or script transformations that turn master data into business layers.
•Support web mapping technology usage and research spatial/nonspatial data issues to resolve mapping and information requests.

Key Requirements

•Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer and/or education institution.
•Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
•Currently a college student: Freshman through Senior.
•Expected graduation date: Fall 2027 through Spring/Fall 2030.
•Available starting mid-late May 2027 and able to commit a minimum of ten (10) continuous weeks.
