Key Responsibilities

•Operate specialist workshop equipment, set up tools and materials for lessons, and respond to student questions with feedback to support progress.
•Prepare project materials before class (e.g., cutting and gluing) and set up jigs, moulds, and patterns for ongoing work.
•Provide technical assistance during lessons as directed by the class teacher.
•Maintain workshop safety through daily maintenance checks (machinery, cleaning, oiling, blade changes) and support implementation of Health & Safety policy, including documentation updates.
•Manage stock and resources (orders, storage, COSHH resources) and operate CAD/CAM facilities, processing student jobs and monitoring progress on CNC machines.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree.
•Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
•Fluent English communication skills (written and oral).
•Strong interpersonal skills and daily contact with parents in a diverse multicultural environment.
•A clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check or police check.
