Key Responsibilities

  • •Screen new ingredients to reduce sugar and salt in products (lab and pilot scale).
  • •Test the impact of ingredients on sensory, nutrition, analytical, shelf life and regulatory aspects with internal experts.
  • •Reach out to suppliers and collaborate with procurement.
  • •Set up Design of Experiments (DoE) for experiments.
  • •Contribute to project aim of sugar and salt reduction to support ESG guidelines.

Key Requirements

  • •English fluency (written and verbal)
  • •Enrolled at a university for at least 50% study load for the duration of the internship
  • •EU working rights are required (EU Citizenship, studying in the Netherlands, or valid student work visa)
  • •Food Technology third year HBO/Bachelor or Master student with classes on Ingredient Functionality and Product Design or Product Development
  • •Interest or experience in product development and knowledge on interaction and functionality of ingredients is preferred
