Job Summary

Develop and implement high-fidelity modeling and simulation solutions for next-generation missile and sensor systems. Partner with GNC, signal processing, and performance simulation teams to build simulation environments, run trade studies, and analyze results that shape architecture and design decisions. Provide technical leadership through design reviews and technical interchange meetings, supporting product development from concept through fielded deployment and contributing to technology roadmaps.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop high-fidelity models and simulations to support missile design, performance assessment, and flight test activities.
•Design, develop, and implement modeling and simulation solutions, conducting trade studies and evaluating system and subsystem performance.
•Collaborate with GNC, signal processing, and systems engineering teams to execute simulation activities aligned to program objectives and schedules.
•Analyze simulation results and provide technical recommendations that influence system architecture and design decisions.
•Support product development across the full lifecycle and provide technical leadership during design reviews, technical interchange meetings, and customer engagements.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM discipline and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
•Experience applying object-oriented software design and programming using C or C++.
•Experience using Python or MATLAB to analyze engineering data and evaluate system performance.
•Experience developing models or simulations of physical systems, applying modeling, simulation, statistical analysis, or engineering analysis to evaluate system solutions.
•Active and transferable DoD Secret U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date, and U.S. citizenship is required.
