Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure health and safety and compliance checks are carried out using the provided digital systems as per SOPs and compliance management tools.
  • •Action and close any tasks attributed to the Maintenance Manager or home highlighted on Bupa compliance management tools and software.
  • •Ensure safety and cleanliness within the care home and grounds meet Environmental Health, Fire Authority, Legionella and Health & Safety requirements.
  • •Complete maintenance and repair tasks to a high standard, in a timely manner and ensure value for money while maintaining internal decoration in line with the organisation’s vision.
  • •Assist with induction of new colleagues regarding emergency exits, fire points and evacuation procedures, and provide regional maintenance support as required.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 17.05 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •A good understanding of building services including heating, hot and cold-water distribution, ventilation, electrical distribution, and plumbing.
  • •Sound understanding of building fabric and its maintenance.
  • •Practical experience of planned maintenance systems and record keeping.
  • •Knowledge of relevant statutory requirements and experience of compliance.
  • •A full driving licence
