Key Responsibilities

  • •Establish and execute the strategic direction of project controls, including cost management, risk management, and schedule management.
  • •Manage project budget approval and develop/recommend project budget, cash flow, and financial plan.
  • •Lead risk workshops and coordinate ongoing risk processes, including Monte Carlo analyses and mitigation actions with owners.
  • •Develop and produce regular reporting, performance measurement/forecasting/trending, and documentation for project gateway and approval processes.
  • •Lead the Project Controls Team and deliver quality-controlled controls deliverables, including baselines/metrics, estimating and contingency methodology, and change management impact strategies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a related field; graduate degree is preferred.
  • •12+ years of relevant project controls experience with portfolio controls experience.
  • •5+ years managing high-performing project control teams in a consulting environment.
  • •5+ years managing project controls teams in a regulatory/mission-critical environment; soft skills/client management are a must.
  • •Proficiency with project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project) and advanced Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis; track record with schedules, cost control, estimating, and risk management.
