Job Summary

Own and continuously improve OpenAI’s extended workforce program by translating priorities into clear plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes. Partner with Extended Workforce Operations and Global Compliance to ensure scalable, compliant operations. Advise stakeholders on workforce solutions, enhance workflows and reporting, and test automation and AI tools to reduce manual work. Manage supplier relationships, resolve escalations, and drive program health insights as the program scales globally.

•Translate extended workforce priorities into end-to-end plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes in collaboration with the Head of Extended Workforce.
•Partner with Extended Workforce Operations and Global Compliance Lead to ensure program operations are efficient, scalable, and compliant.
•Advise hiring managers and stakeholders on workforce solutions across experience, speed, cost, compliance, risk, and operational scalability.
•Improve workflows, automation, systems, reporting, and user experiences by turning business needs and operational insights into changes.
•Identify root causes of recurring issues and drive durable processes, manage supplier relationships, and lead rollout/adoption of new tools and practices.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 216,000 - 240,000 annually

Key Requirements

•7+ years of progressive experience in extended workforce, contingent workforce, procurement operations, workforce operations, or a related field.
•Client-side experience building and operating an extended workforce program, including designing and continuously improving processes, systems, controls, and operating model.
•Experience scaling workforce processes, systems, automation, reporting, and service delivery, including hands-on experience with VNDLY (or similar Vendor Management System).
•Strong judgment and strategic thinking with the ability to remain deeply involved in execution using operational data and workforce metrics.
•Understanding of legal, compliance, and operational considerations for extended workforce programs (e.g., worker classification, co-employment, tenure, location, access, data protection).
