Key Responsibilities

  • •Own release-level prioritization, milestones, deliverables, and success criteria; serve as primary point of contact for production deployments, patching, issues, escalations, and contingency planning.
  • •Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, DevOps, Product, QA, and Customer Success to meet committed release dates and quality/business targets.
  • •Plan and maintain the release calendar across multiple development and testing environments.
  • •Monitor pre-release gates and coordinate Go/No-Go discussions to ensure quality, security, and compliance standards are met.
  • •Identify, pilot, and scale AI and automation tooling to streamline deployment processes and report measurable impact.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 100,000 - 119,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in release management, program management, or project management in a cross-functional multi-team software development environment.
  • •Deep understanding of SDLC and Agile and Scrum frameworks.
  • •Proficiency with release and delivery tooling (e.g., Jira Administrator level, Confluence, Monday.com) with ability to configure and maintain systems.
  • •Experience using AI and intelligent tooling (e.g., AI-assisted documentation/communication, automated risk/anomaly detection, chatbot-driven status reporting) to improve releases.
  • •Strong program management skills: build release plans, maintain RAID logs and dependency maps, and manage scope, timeline, and resourcing tradeoffs.
