Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify, qualify, and develop strategic suppliers for advance materials such as ceramics, graphite, and quartz.
  • •Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and conduct capability/capacity assessments to support demand and reduce supply risk.
  • •Measure and track supplier KPIs across cost, quality, delivery, and lead time.
  • •Negotiate commercial terms and contracts; identify alternate sources to enhance capacity and ensure continuity.
  • •Collaborate with engineering teams to qualify new suppliers/materials and act as the escalation point to resolve supplier issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Engineering degree in advance materials, ceramics, mechanical, or production engineering.
  • •10+ years in manufacturing, sourcing, procurement, supply chain, and/or project management (relevant certifications preferred).
  • •Strong manufacturing process knowledge of the ceramics industry.
  • •5+ years leading commercial large-scale negotiations with suppliers.
  • •Ability to read technical drawings and solve problems using a data-driven, rigorous approach.
