Job Summary

Drive compliance with ISO 26262 by defining and maintaining software safety requirements and developing safety-focused software architecture and design. Perform safety analyses (FMEA, DFA, FFI, FTA), support software development process adherence, and lead software tool qualification. Build and debug safety-critical low-level drivers, embedded software, and firmware, collaborating with cross-functional teams and supporting functional safety assessors, audits, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Define, manage, and maintain software safety requirements in compliance with ISO 26262.
•Develop and review software architecture and design to ensure adherence to functional safety requirements.
•Perform and support safety analyses including FMEA, DFA, FFI, and FTA.
•Lead and support software tool qualification activities and ensure compliance with ISO 26262 software processes and work products.
•Design and develop low-level drivers, embedded software, and firmware for safety-critical applications; collaborate with teams and support safety audits/assessments.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: INR 3,103,450 - 4,433,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Strong expertise in Automotive Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and compliance across the software development lifecycle.
•10+ years of experience in Automotive SoCs, Safety Islands, Drivers, BSP, or Firmware development.
•Hands-on experience with safety analyses including FMEA, DFA, FFI, and FTA.
•Experience with software tool qualification and confidence evaluation.
•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
