Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and/or assist with layout, installation, maintenance, and repair of high-speed packaging/processing/mixing equipment and associated piping and utility systems.
  • •Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical malfunctions as a subject matter expert for electrical systems.
  • •Read and understand advanced mechanical and electrical drawings and blueprints.
  • •Perform PLC, servo motor, and VFD troubleshooting; minor PLC programming ability is preferred.
  • •Maintain required paperwork and document equipment maintenance history, including emergency response plan responsibilities.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of manufacturing work experience, with high-speed packaging equipment experience preferred.
  • •PLC programming and troubleshooting experience is required.
  • •Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, including experience as an electrical systems SME, are required.
  • •Knowledge of preventive maintenance (PM) techniques and ability to implement improvements from vendor/OEM manuals.
  • •Associates and/or bachelor’s degree in mechanical and/or electrical disciplines, plus electrical certification and NFPA 70E training, are preferred.
