Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead junior developers to drive projects to completion and provide guidance to team members
  • •Maintain development quality through norms/standards, frameworks, source control, technical reviews, and code reviews
  • •Participate in the full development lifecycle (design, estimation, planning, development, unit testing, and release/implementation support)
  • •Translate business requirements into technical solutions with business analysts and solution architects and review technical specifications
  • •Engage vendors on technical matters, manage and report technical risks, and help ensure solutions do not impact IT security and effectiveness

Key Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience delivering Web/API solutions with Java and Spring (Spring Boot, Spring Framework)
  • •Strong database and SQL skills, including design of RDBMS plus SQL/PLSQL/T-SQL and ORM (JPA, Hibernate)
  • •Experience with REST APIs and messaging (JMS), including JPA/Hibernate integration
  • •Working knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • •Ability to lead/coaching in development, manage technical risks, and communicate effectively with teams
