Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the end-to-end sourcing process for NPI components, materials, and services from concept through mass production.
  • •Partner early with R&D, Product Management, and Engineering to align sourcing with roadmaps, requirements, and specifications.
  • •Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers; drive DFx principles (DFC, DFM, DFSC) and mitigate NPI-specific supply chain risks.
  • •Manage cost models and lead RFQs/competitive bids; negotiate pricing, lead times, inventory, and SLAs.
  • •Draft, review, and manage supply agreements, NDAs, and SOWs with Legal; oversee part qualification (PPAP/FAIs) and communicate sourcing status and actions.

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain roles focused on New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • •Experience with cost analysis, contract negotiation, and supplier relationship management.
  • •Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • •Experience collaborating with global contract manufacturers and suppliers in Electronics, Metals, and Plastics commodity areas.
