Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Sapphire architecture effort for the Sapphire program, supporting the SEIT Chief Architect.
  • •Collaborate across subsystems and Integrated Product Teams to plan, design, develop, and verify complex software applications systems using common products and tools.
  • •Define and coordinate system performance requirements by evaluating customer/operational needs, ensuring compatibility of physical, functional, and program interfaces.
  • •Perform analyses to optimize the system-of-systems and identify unassigned scope to ensure proper distribution.
  • •Plan and execute SEIT events (e.g., System Requirement Reviews, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews) and ensure requirements trace flow down to lower levels while forecasting and tracking compliance activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or related qualifications.
  • •10+ years of experience with architecture definition and design concepts and techniques (e.g., concurrent engineering, Design for Manufacture/Assembly).
  • •5+ years of experience with Magic Systems of Systems Architect (MSOSA).
  • •5+ years of experience leading engineering teams.
  • •Must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret security clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
